removed?

Hmmm. the staff has removed my picture tiled The Ring. It was a picture of my Penis (which could fall under Gratuitous nudity) but It was done very artistically and wasn't sexual in nature. It was a "submission of 'artistic' nudes and not simple shots of naked people." to quote the Official Nudity Policy: FAQ #23: What are deviantART's policies on nudity?
It just doesn’t make any sense. I've seen hundreds of photos of women's vagina, breast, nipples, or buttocks on this site, but the second It's a picture of a Man's parts, no mater how artistically its done, it gets removed?
Somebody needs to read 205 arguments and observations in support of naturism.

Well I got a reply about my submition being removed. I'm still upset that it was removed but I understand the explanation, and glad they took the time to read my inquiery and give me an explanation.

Bummer man. I hate it when DA does that shit. I understand why, but i Know that most that get pulled are at least by DA standards: appropriate, and that the person pulling them is just doing it for some odd reason. Sucks.... lol, and i missed your submission before they pulled it... so that pisses me off more. LOl,

As for the chain mail, thanks, It does take a lot of time so... So far it's a one of a kind but if I get people interested in stuff willing to pay me enough to make it profitable I might start making stuff to sell.
I wish my digital camera was higher resolution so I could get more detail.

It was just that since it was a close up picture of genitalia, even thought it was artisticly done, they felt it didn't apeal to the main audience of DA and that it would be better suited to an adult site. Personaly I dont want it on an adult site, I don't want it displaied as PORN. I want it on an art site, displaied as what I intended it: ART.
